TUCHAKOE  

Tuckahoe was famous for its marble quarries in the mid to late 1800's. 'Tuckahoe' Marble was used all ove rthe country, most notably in Washington, D.C. where it helped build the Washington Monument and rebuilt the U.S. Capitol.
